This section will show you how to download MCX-OS image from Motorcortex.io.

The MCX-OS Image file is a complete Realtime System Image that can be flashed onto your controller’s harddrive. Users of Motorcortex.io can download the image for their controller architecture from the Motorcortex.io Store.

If you do not have a account yet, register for an account.

  1. Login to motorcortex.io and go to the Motorcortex store.

  2. In the Motorcortex.io Store, look for a file with a name similar to mcx-image-dev-mcx-...(select the type controller that you are using).

  3. After the download is completed a .img.xz file should appear in your Download folder.
