Adapt a store application to your own drives, axes and mechanism, step by step.

Start from one of the store applications and adapt it to your hardware by working through the seven steps below in order. Click a step to open its guide. The units and frames used on these pages are explained in Definitions.

Steps

The same steps as the diagram, as a list:

  1. Connect your drives and I/O modules: EtherCAT devices.
  2. Set the drive mode of operation, and pick the setpoint that goes with it: Drive logic.
  3. Configure the axes: transformations, limiters, window detectors and PID controllers in Axes control.
  4. Set up the mechanism for your application type, a robot or a machine: Set up a robot or Set up a machine.
  5. Configure the beeper and light: Alarm devices.
  6. Add a 3D model of your machine to the dashboard: Add a 3D model.
  7. Tick off every step and test it: Final check.
