Limiters and shaping

Blocks that bound a signal or shape how fast it may change.

Limiter

Limiter clamps a signal between a lower and an upper bound.

SoftLimiter

SoftLimiter bounds a signal the way a hard limiter does, but rounds the approach instead of cutting it off.

HardLimitVector

HardLimitVector limits the length of a vector rather than each of its components.

RateLimiter

RateLimiter caps how fast a signal may change.

RateLimiter3D

RateLimiter3D caps how fast a point in three dimensions may move.

PVALimiter

PVALimiter shapes a position command so the motion it produces respects a position range, a velocity limit and an acceleration limit all at once.

PVALimiters

PVALimiters is the multi-axis form of PVALimiter.

PvajLimiter

PvajLimiter bounds a position setpoint in jerk, acceleration, velocity and position at the same time, and guarantees the position limits are never crossed.

GainSchedulingPVALimiter

GainSchedulingPVALimiter bounds a position reference in position, velocity, acceleration and jerk.

SmoothStop

SmoothStop brings a moving axis to a controlled standstill on command.

Deadzone

Deadzone blanks a band around zero and passes everything outside it.

Decay

Decay adds an amount to its output on command, holds it, then ramps it linearly back to a resting level.
