Desk keeps its shortcuts to the actions you repeat during a measurement session. Modifier keys held over the plot change what a scroll or a drag does.
Shortcuts

Ctrl+S, Ctrl+F, Ctrl+Shift+R and Enter work while typing in an input; the other shortcuts are ignored there so they cannot fire while you are entering a value.
Modifier gestures on the plot
Hold a key while scrolling or dragging over the plot:

While the key is held the plot pans on drag and shows a badge naming what the drag does; releasing it restores the previous mode. Auto-follow is not re-enabled automatically. Press Home or use the toggle.

The Active panel
Select with the mouse:

Then click any row to give the list focus, and use the keyboard:

| ↑ / ↓ | Walk the selection through the rows. From no selection, ↓ takes the first row and ↑ the last; both stop at the ends rather than wrapping |
| ← / → | Move the selected traces one Y axis along y1…y4, clamped at both ends |
| H | Hide or show the selected traces. Hides the group if any of them is still visible |
| Del / ⌫ | Remove the selected traces; the selection lands on the row that takes their place, so it can be pressed repeatedly |
Each of these acts on the whole selection at once. The XY x-source is skipped by H and the arrows: it has no line to hide and no Y axis to walk, so use the axis dropdown to promote or demote it.
These keys are bound to the list rather than to the window, so they keep working when the panel is popped out and never fire from another panel.
